Here's a shot of the wood we scored from a neighbor for free. We got about 20 6"x6"x12' timbers and a bunch of planks. It seems to be cypress, it was heavy. Finally, we have all the timbers we need except 3 beams for the second floor and the ridgepoles and purlins for the roof.
In the background, a small wood shed made out of pallets we can get for free can be seen. You have to put the wood scraps somewhere, they pile up.
Not much has changed on the site itself. The foundation is more or less complete.
Right now we're spending our time collecting and cutting logs for the walls.
