Here's the just finished retaining wall behind the house. The kids played in the river while collecting stones, so everything worked well for everybody.
Also just finished cutting, splitting and stacking the firewood. I hope oak is worth the trouble.
The general state of affairs.
The drainage pipe has been buried. In addition, most of the water coming off the roof will be diverted to a collection tank for the water heater. It should help keep things a bit drier around the foundation.
